I am in the process of formulating a topic for my dissertation in education. I know I want it to focus on implementation of learning organization, via the foundation of systems thinking in K-12 schools to promote student achievement and narrow the academic gap.

Although my background is primarily corporate management in both information systems and marketing, at present, I am a secondary school special education teacher who yearns to really make a difference and sees so many implications of systems thinking for students. However, I am equally excited about the role of systems thing in all aspects of life.
